MARGARET LILIAN MARKWART (nee HOLLOWAY) March 21, 1941 - December 5, 2013 Peacefully at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg on Thursday, December 5, 2013. Born March 21, 1941 to Robert and Elsie Holloway of Stonewall, Manitoba. Predeceased by her parents, an infant daughter and sister-in-law Jean. She is survived by her children Christopher, Robin (Tim) Breman, and Donna (Francisco); grandchildren William and Annie Breman and Joseph Markwart; her siblings Bob, Jim (Marina), Tom (Betty) and Florence (Bill) Lepp; nieces and nephews. Margaret was raised in Stonewall and began her career as a telephone operator, later moving to Ashern, where she married and raised her children. She returned to Stonewall and then to Middlechurch as her health continued to deteriorate. Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Middlechurch Home for the exceptional care given to Margaret. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Stonewall, MB. Interment to take place at Stonewall Cemetery.
