• Oh Enid!!! I am so sorry for your loss. Bette & I were confidants and she was thrilled when you and your husband came to Teulon so she wouldn't be alone. She loved you dearly and often told me that you were her best friend never mind daughter, so I know how very deep your loss is. Her wonderful sense of humor, ability for compassion, honesty and strength of faith are traits you both have in common so rest assured - she will be with you every day. Rest in Peace Bette and thank you for your wonderful lifetime friendship that for me, ended far too soon - at 86. Try to take comfort from knowing she is now reunited with Mike, and you too will reunite with them both one day. I miss them both - they were a wonderful couple who brought a lot of great things to our lives. So stay strong and give yourself time to heal - I know you have lots of warm and wonderful memories to reflect on and that amazing woman you called mom would want all things good for you. I already miss our weekly chats and of course I have other friends but no one could possible replace Bette in my life.
