Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA MAY LANZ (nee BARTON) Peacefully on December 31, 2013, Edna passed away at Park Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 94 years. Edna is survived by her children Joan (Ken) Ezinicki, Kenneth Harrison, Joy Harrison and Judy Tarko, her eight grandchildren Tammy (Glenn) Magura, Mark (Brenda) Ezinicki, Cheryl Ezinicki, Jacqueline (Joe) Notarianni, Kimberly (Kelley) Fisette, Robert (Selena) Harrison, Karrie (Tarko) Johns (deceased), Gerry (Christie) Tarko, her fifteen great-grandchildren Michael, Jennifer, Darryl, Erika, Nakia, Marina, Francesco, Marco, Mallory, Alyssa, Preston, Kayley, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Ethan, and her great-great-grandchild Keegan. She was predeceased by her first husband Willard Harrison and second husband George Lanz. Edna was born in Miami, MB on October 19, 1919. Her parents were Elizabeth and Joseph Barton. Her siblings were Charles Hood, Doris Bullied and Edith Coutts. Edna was employed by Canada Post as a postal clerk for 20 years. Her special friends are Winnifred Cassel and Robert Coutts. Edna loved animals, her dog Sandy and her cat Kitty. She loved sewing, puzzles and was an accomplished artist. Edna loved all her grandchildren and enjoyed their visits. Edna came to Park Manor on July 29, 2013 and enjoyed being there. The family would like to thank the staff at Park Manor for all the care and compassion she received during her stay. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy 1 at Navin Road, with Father Kevin officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Cremation and interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Hi Gramma..missing you now that Spring is here...you would love the goat and chickens we have and the sheep we will be getting and the little pyr dogs. I will miss asking you for advice for planting and weeding and visiting with my little female pug. I know you are finished your journey in life and in a better place but it would be nice to talk to you once in awhile. I have been seeing ladybugs in the house every so often and am taking for granted you are sending them to me to show me that you have been "visiting". Love and miss you very much. Nakia cherishes your pink sunglasses and very much misses you as well....I am sure I will see you on the other side when my journey is over too some day.
