Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARLE HOUGH August 26, 1928 - December 28, 2013 Peacefully on December 28, 2013, with family at his side, Earle Hough passed away at the age of 85, at Concordia Hospital. Earle was born in Winnipeg and was the second son of Howard and Greta. He lost his mother shortly after birth. He was predeceased by his brother Asa and his stepmother Kate. Earle will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Lillian, his son Robert (Linda), son Glen (Wendy) and daughter Joanne (Greg). He took great delight in his grandchildren Clinton, David (Tara), Brian, Adam, Christina, Scott and his great-grandchildren Evan, Emily and Lucas. There was a special place in his heart for his extended family; Lawrence (Maureen) Salter, Ruth, Kathleen and their families, and the Rowntree family. Earle retired from Bristol Aerospace and left behind many good friends. He was an avid sports fan and loved to golf and curl, spending many happy hours at the Assiniboine and Granite Curling Clubs. Earle loved to laugh and believed "acting your age" was only for old people. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Bergen, Dr. J. Bueti, and the physicians and nursing staff at Concordia Hospital. At Earle's request, there will be no formal service. A celebration of his life will be planned for the summer of 2014.

Earl was lovely to be around as he was fun loving and rarely negative. He was much loved by all of the Rowntree family, but none more so than Aunt Meda who loved him like a son. He will be greatly missed but knowing him has provided me with many awesome memories. - Posted by: Len Rowantree (Cousin) on: Feb 10, 2014

It was a honour and privilege to have know Mr. Hough. I have many fond memories of him, always making me laugh. He had a real way with kids, young and old. Teasing was his specialty. Mr Hough was a client of mine for many years, but I also considered him a friend. Our condolences to Mrs. Hough and family, may all your wonderful memories of him help to ease your pain.
