Manuel Brum passed away at the Selkirk & District General Hospital at the age of 56 years. Manuel was born in Fenais da Luz, Sao Miguel, Açores on January 5, 1958. He was raised in Graciosa and immigrated to Canada in August 1981 to get married. He will be missed by his wife Maria Connie; daughter Sonia; sons Bobby and Michael; sister Crisolina as well as nieces, nephews, in-laws, family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Emanuel and Jack Lima; Tony, Joe, Tyler and Marshall Pimentel. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Nurses of the Selkirk & District General Hospital for the excellent care that Manuel received during his time there. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Selkirk & District General Hospital. Vigil Prayers 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Parish with Fr. Andre Lico officiating. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
