He was predeceased by beloved wife Adeline, his mother and father Florence and James, sister Margaret, brother Alexander and in-laws Molly and Fred Buxman. Stan was born in Winnipeg in 1927. He married Adeline Buxman in 1951 and they enjoyed a long marriage that lasted until Addie's passing in 2013. Stan and Addie loved the West Elmwood community where they lived for many years and they greatly cherished their neighbourhood friends. Stan had a long and dedicated career at Westroc Industries Limited, retiring in 1988 after 44 years of service. He loved reading and keeping up with current events, travelling, playing the guitar and writing poetry. The family would like to convey our sincere appreciation to the staff at Donwood Manor for their care and compassion. A special thanks to Dr. P.G. Mehta, Stan's family physician for many years. We also express our thanks to Harry Defoort and Wendy Josephson for the friendship they extended to Stan.
