Condolences & Memories (15 entries)

  • Many moons ago, when I was a first year teacher in a Winnipeg High School, Richard pulled me aside and gave me some tips on beard grooming. To this day, I think of him when trimming my "winter face". I wish your family peace and happy memories as you continue to mourn your loss. - Posted by: Paulo Borges (Colleague) on: Jan 27, 2014

  • Rich, you will be missed by many. Thanks for the laughs, heart to hearts, haircuts and of course the bevvies! Your smile, singing and nick names for everyone will be remembered for a long time. It will never be the same at Blumberg without you. To your family, we know you will miss him terribly and that the hurt will continue for quite some time, however remember he will always be there for you in your heart, and you should never forget just how much he truly loved you all. • I first met Richie in 2005 when he came to work for me at JBGC. Reliable, conscientious, hilarious are all perfect words to describe my good friend. It was never a dull day working with Rich and I looked forward to my Friday afternoons laughing over beverages at the shop. He helped guide me in tough times and was always full of cheer while on his mower cutting the 160 acres he took great pride in. Cheers, Richie, going to miss you but will never forget you. - Posted by: Greg Hollins (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2014
