HELEN DERKSEN Peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, Helen Derksen passed away at the age of 101 years. She is survived by her three children and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius Derksen in 1979. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Morrow Gospel Church (755 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg). A devotional service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Sterling Mennonite Fellowship (1008 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, MB). We are praying for all of you as you say your final good bye to your mother. I have very fond memories of her from my childhood and adult life. She loved our Lord and God! She was always busy with her hands doing things with yarn or whatever she could to make the nicest things and she loved to visit our mom and encourage others. Thanks, Auntie Helen, for what you meant to me and Randy and for the great blessing you have been to all of us and our families.
