DAVID PRESTON September 9, 1942 - January 23, 2014 David passed away peacefully in his favourite chair at the age of 71. He is survived by his partner of many years, Lorraine Paille, his sister Colleen Frank, and numerous nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Sadie, brother Jim, and sisters Beatrice and Eileen and their respective spouses. David worked at various jobs in his lifetime, including The City of Winnipeg, and at various hotels in the city, where he was known as "Pepsi". The family would like to send a huge thank you to the Home Care staff (especially Brian), as well as the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for taking such good care of David. He has been cremated and will be laid to rest in his favourite place, Lac du Bonnet, MB next summer. Rest in peace, brother David, you are no longer in pain and free from your frustration.

Dave is also survived by many nieces and nephews and Suzanne (Andrew), Cecile, Denis (Mel), Justin (Amy) and his "little one" Aiyanah. A memorial service will take place on January 29, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel in the St. Boniface Hospital, 409 Tache Avenue.
