WILLIAM (BILL) STEFANIUK Mr. William (Bill) Stefaniuk, aged 85 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Beausejour District Hospital. With his family by his side, he left to be with Jesus. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Margery; his son Mel (Susan) and their children Amanda, Penny (James), Mel Jr., and Spenser; and his son Perry (Bonnie) and their children Justin, Carleen and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his three brothers and one sister and their families. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Stefaniuk and one brother Michael. Bill and Margery met in 1953 and were married on November 7 before settling in Allegra, MB. Bill had many jobs--from North Star Oil dealer to working in the bush--before finding his true calling in farming. He loved auction sales, fishing, camping and travelling. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 10 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with interment to follow in the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Askarifar, the nurses and staff at the Beausejour Hospital for all the care and compassion shown to our family and William.
