EVA AMANDA RONDEAU (nee GAUTHIER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom on February 12, 2014, at the age of 89 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by Alfred (Carol-Anne), Dianne (Leon), Cho, Darlene (Les), Carol (Warren). Mem/Baba will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Sean (Kerri); Myah, Kayla, Marcus (Laura), Keith (Tiana); Waylon (expected in March), Jeremy, Tabatha; Emilio, Tahliah, Landon, Candice (Scott); Tanner, Lindsey (Brad), Cherie; Sophya, Louis (Robyn). Eva is survived by sisters Lorraine (Guy), Louise (Al) and brother Rene (Yvonne). Mom was predeceased by her husband (our dad) Alec in 1993; brothers Louis and Denis; and sisters Rita, Denise, Rolande and Yvonne. Mom was born in Ste. Genevieve on November 23, 1924. Attending school and working on the farm until she moved to the city in 1942. She married Alec in May 1947 and resided in Winnipeg. Her love of gardening (evident in her bountiful garden and gorgeous flowers), the Toronto Blue Jays, family and independence meant everything to mom. How she enjoyed the Wednesday night card games with her children and attending church on Sundays were the highlight of her week. Family was everything to mom/mem/Baba and she left us with wonderful traditions to carry on. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Boniface Hospital E6. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Road, at 10:30 a.m. on February 18. Viewing will be held prior to service.
