JAMES (BUD) ALEXANDER TINGLEY Surrounded by family, James Tingley passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Riverview Health Centre. Left to mourn his loss is his wife Georgina and children, Linda (Brian), Gary, Sharon (Bob) and Brenda (Darryl). His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Papa was a household name for us. He will be dearly missed by Randi, Sarah, Christine, Crystal, Eric and his great-grandchildren. James was the youngest of five children of which he can be reunited with in heaven. Dad's favourite place was the cabin at Winnipeg Beach. He would spend countless hours with his grandchildren on the beach, in the arcade or just walking with them around town. If the grandchildren were not there, you could find him puttering around the yard; he loved projects. If Dad wasn't at the cabin, he was shopping. He adored shopping and could spend hours in one store and never buy a thing. Dad/Papa, you were one of a kind and our hearts are now a little more empty without you but we have your memories to keep close to our hearts. Special thanks to Riverview; he was happy there till the end. At James's request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
