Our sincere condolences to the Grahame family. I met George, Shelley and Ken during my first job at Ktichen Craft. What a wonderful man George was, always laughing and joking around. I have many fond memories of George and I will never forget how he jokingly teased me and my new husband at our wedding and how much fun George liked to have; always the life of the party! He was truly a remarkable person. Thanks for the memories; I will always treasure them. Rest in peace. Shelley, Ken, Darryl and Nancy, may you find comfort in the days to come. George was a kind, generous man and a lot of fun. Lots of fond memories at their home on Simpson Ave and cabin at Grand Beach. He was like one of the boys when we were all growing up. He will be missed. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Reg & Debbie McKay (Friend) on: Mar 07, 2014

My condolences to the Grahame family. Mr. Grahame had a great sense of humour, and was definitely fun to be around. I vividly recall one fine afternoon at the surf club! - Posted by: Rob Holmes (Friend of family) on: Mar 07, 2014

I've known the Grahame's for a long time. Mr. Grahame (George) was a terrific guy, small business owner, entrepreneur, cottage owner. We lived a few blocks away and I grew up knowing the boys, Ken and Darryl, and my sister knew Shelley. Good people. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Nancy Grahame, and the Grahame family. From the bottom of my heart. Gord Groves - Posted by: Gord Groves (Family friend) on: Mar 05, 2014

We met George and Nancy in church about 17 years ago. When our children were still babies, the couple often came up to see them. As our children grew up, and were big enough to have treats, the couple brought them candies. I remember on special occasions such as Christmas and Easter, the candies would be in special packages. The couple asked the kids to call them Uncle George and Auntie Nancy. To us, Uncle George and Auntie Nancy are just like family. When they attend church, I made sure to say hi and give them hugs. The couple would embrace us back and I will never forget Uncle George saying..."I love you guys". Uncle George, we know that you are in a better place now where there is no longer suffering. Auntie Nancy, we pray that you will find comfort in God's promise of eternal life and also in knowing that there are a lot of people that are praying for you and thinking about you during this very difficult time. Uncle George, we will miss you dearly. Rest in peace and we love you too! - Posted by: marissa pineda (friend) on: Mar 05, 2014

It was always a must to go and heckle George when the "boys" came over. He always made us feel welcome and made us laugh with his distinctive laugh. He will will be sorely missed by the Simpson Street Boys. - Posted by: Russ Macsymetz (Former neighbor) on: Mar 04, 2014
