Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIA BELISLE (nee HUPPE) September 2, 1918 - March 7, 2014 Peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, March 7, 2014, Emilia Bélisle passed away at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by baby son, husband Paul, son Adelard (Eddy) and great-granddaughter Jennifer Reimer. She is survived by two sisters, Irene Huppe and Celeste Therrien. Daughters Cecile (Charlie), Florence (Martin), Adrienne (Gary), son Gerard (Ann-Marie), 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. Mom was born September 2, 1918 in Richer, MB to Jérémie and Joséphine Huppé (nee Vandal).She met and married Paul Belisle from Ste-Geneviève, MB January 21, 1938. They were married for 64 years. Dad passed away December 2002, and one month later her eldest son Adelard (Eddy) January 3, 2003. Mom was very devoted to her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for anyone that would come to the house, Christmas dinner was always her favourite. She enjoyed family gatherings and trips to the Morris Stampedes. Mom will be missed immensely by all. Rest in peace Mom we love you. The family would like to thank the emergency staff at the Victoria Hospital for the exceptional care they gave to mom and support they gave to the family during mom's final moments of her life. We would also like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite (Foyer Valade) for the care and attention they showed Mom. She had her favourites that she called her little chickadee, Theresa the nurse she would sing "You are My Sunshine" with, and Nicole who were all very special to mom as well as many of the health care aids. Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane on Wednesday March 12, 2014. Viewing will be at 10:30, with services to follow at 11:00 with Monseigneur Maurice Comeault officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to your favourite charity.
