  • I first met Nettie in 2011 at work. I think Nettie and I became fast friends because of personalities. Nettie didn't suffer fools gladly as I soon discovered. HaHaHa Well neither do I. And so a friendship was born. I have many memories of Nettie. The way she always spoke so lovingly of her man. Albert, I hope you take comfort in knowing how respectful and loving Nettie always spoke of you. I'll fondly remember the stories, laughs and music we shared on the commute to and from South Beach. The beer and juice after work, and more. White Thunderbird Woman soar high and watch over your loved ones left here on earth. Love You Nettie.... • When I was a little one, Antie Nettie was a big part of my life. From our hockey team playing each other. Flyers vs. Oilers, to her little bingo caller. Antie had me sitting on her lap calling Bingo with her at Snow Lake's Elks Bingo. Being born with Cerebral Palsy has been tough. I have been very blessed in my life. As of 2002 I have been living in Thompson, with a wonderful time job, I'm now President of a self advocate group for people living with disabilities called People First here in Thompson as well as the 1st Vice President for the Province of Manitoba. I got to see my Antie to say Antie I promise to do the best that I can & Antie I love you so much!!! I know today Antie Nettie has always been so proud of what I've done in my life & I will always have her support in my heart!! To Uncle Albert & Antie Nettie I love you so much!!! Antie Nettie may you rest peacefully now and remember "I will see you again" Go OILERS!!! Your little Nephew Kristopher Blake. I love you!!!! - Posted by: Kristopher Blake (Great Antie ) on: Apr 01, 2014
