PAK-WAI CHAN On March 23, 2014, Pak-Wai passed away at the age of 32 years. Pak-Wai leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Adrian Kim; husband Calvin Kim; mother Po-Tin Chan and brother Pak-Yan Chan. She was predeceased by her father Hing-Chiu Chan. Pak-Wai was passionate about life; she loved travelling, vacationing on cruise ships, scuba diving and taking road trips. She was a foodie and appreciated any well cooked meal. Not only did she love life, she also loved having fun. Always up for any game, her skills on the board game table were unmatched and will be greatly missed. She truly did try to adhere to the adage that variety is the spice of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund for Adrian at any TD Canada Trust location. Please contact Calvin at bokuryos@hotmail.com for account details. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and private service will be held. • Pak-wai, you will be forever missed and loved. Your childhood friend forever more... - Posted by: Natasha (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2014

  • We were very saddened to hear about Pak-Wai's passing. Although I am only a customer and did not know her beyond the pharmacist/patient relationship, I feel a great loss. I was always very relieved when she was the one who came to do a consult on new drugs I'd been prescribed. She was always very understanding and patient with me, and it didn't go unnoticed. I appreciated her kindness and professionalism and all the guidance she provided. May her family and friends find comfort and may she watch over her daughter and husband and bring them peace. • Words truly can not express the sadness and sorrow that I feel for Calvin, Adrian and all of Pak-Wai's family and friends. May she rest in paradise. - Posted by: Betty Yuen (sister of a friend) on: Apr 05, 2014
