She lived her life, With grace and cheer. An amazing woman, To many so dear. She placed her family, At the top of her list. Her presence and voice, Will surely be missed. She was the type, Her big smile would greet. To those around her, Generous and sweet. With her time on this earth, She was selfless and kind. The memory of her, Shall grow in each mind. We loved our Amy, And forever we will. Thoughts of her, Our days we shall fill. With tears of sadness, together we cry. With heavy hearts, We share this goodbye. - Posted by: Robin () on: Apr 10, 2014

I held my daughter as she again cried her heart out last night after someone asked me how she was. She told me she hated when people would ask her that because without Amy she will never be ok. Amy along with all the girls would gather in my kitchen each so different than the other but each very special. Amy could be riding her bike and see you, she would stop to talk you. Only Amy could have convinced my daughter that it would be a great idea to go walking in a blizzard. Only Amy could help guide my daughter in her journey to become a vegetarian. Only Amy could convince my daughter it was safe to go skating on the Red River late at night. We may never understand why Amy had to leave us so soon, but the wonderful uniqueness she made while here can never be matched. We miss you Amy - Posted by: Roslyn Saurette (mom of one of Amy's many best friend ) on: Apr 10, 2014

I got to know Amy at the frequent Madden family functions. She reminded me of many of the young people I once worked with at ELA in the early 90's - full of life and wanting to make a difference. I could see how much she and Graham cared for each other. There is no doubt that she has made a difference to all those who knew her. My condolences to all her friends and loved ones. - Posted by: Chris Magura (Madden family gathering friend) on: Apr 09, 2014

To say that Amy was bright, funny, smart and warm is an understatement. Although she worked at the theatre for years, it was only in the last year that her and I really became close. We would talk endlessly about vitamins, alternative medicine and all things 'health' as well as Stella & Dot jewelry and of course, Graham's hair! She was so mature for her age and I know that everyone was surprised when they found out that she was still in her early 20s. She always had THE BEST stories and ALWAYS made me laugh. We had made plans to visit each other's cabins in Kenora this summer when we realized we were only a couple of roads away. Her love was for the environment and all things natural, which was exactly portrayed in her personality. She was genuine and gorgeous. Outgoing and smart. She will be so deeply missed. It is such sad news when a young person is taken in their prime. Amy had so very much to live for and was already contributing more than many ever do! We must believe there is something more in order to be able to accept this loss. My deepest condolences to the Gilbert, Wall, O'Brien and Madden families who loved and cherished this beautiful, young, vibrant and involved young women. - Posted by: Gary Card (Uncle to Graham Madden) on: Apr 09, 2014
