Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID MORGAN July 28, 1939 - April 11, 2014 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of David Morgan on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the age of 74. He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Beverley Higginson; children Scott Morgan (Tara), Pam Nadon (Frank), Tannis Bouchard (Keith Solomon), Stacey Morgan (Owen Suchar); grandchildren Aaron (Carrie), Leigh (Ryan), Gabrielle, Derek, Stephane, Renée, Aspen, Caiden, Charlee, Keena, Ethan, Raquel, Theoren, Kate, Olivia, Madelaine, and Eddie; sisters Judy Pudsey (Ed), Colleen Sherwood (Don), as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by parents Elsie Bennington (Hull), Albert Morgan and his wife Wilma Morgan (Winterton). He was born and raised in Winnipeg spending many of his years raising his children in the Southdale community. He retired at the age of 60 from Colliers Pratt McGarry and enjoyed many retirement vacations to Mexico and Florida. He was well known for his quick wit, one liners, and his ability to cut to the heart of the matter. David welcomed everyone with a smile, valuing family above all else. He leaves a big hole in our lives. Dave's last years were a struggle and we can only imagine him saying "Hey, thank God that this nonsense is over." The Service will be held Monday, April 21, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, at Navin Road. A special thank you to all the staff for their loving care and support for Dave and his family during his time at Tuxedo Villa. I had met Dave on a few occasions when I visited Bev and Dave in Winnipeg, and loved his sense of humour.
