Although many years have gone by since your passing, the sad news came fairly recently to me. I will always treasure the years we spent together while you and your little one’s resided in the apartments on Grey Street and proudly called you my best friend. We spent many hours and many quarters playing the arcade game Bomb Jack (and I fondly think of you as I currently play it on my cell phone). Only you will remember that we were very lucky. Rest In Peace Rudy. - Posted by: Linda Panciera (friend) on: Dec 06, 2021

Heaven received a beautiful Angel... One of the best women I've been blessed and honored to share my life with. Who not only was my aunt but who I loved like a second mother and who I call my friend. Someone who taught me so many amazing lessons and who was always there to listen or just to be there. You've touched the lives and hearts of so many. There are no words to express the loss we are all feeling or the emptiness in our hearts. Thank you for loving me, taking care of me and sharing your family with me. Love you always and forever.. Until we meet again.. RIP Aunty. - Posted by: Jessica (Niece) on: May 05, 2014

I hadn't seen Mary-ann in quite some time but whenever we were fortunate enough to see each other, it was like old times. Old times being when we first met at Legion 141. Mary-ann was always an "angel" in my books. What a great lady! Another angel looking down on us, taking care of loved ones! Hugs and kisses to all the family. - Posted by: Lois Kruse (Friend) on: May 05, 2014

Rest in the arms of our wonderful MOM and DAD my beautiful sister. I feel so blessed to have spent the best three weeks with you. I will forever have those memories in my heart. Our talks while lying beside you on the bed. The kisses I gave you for Ken. You will always be my baby girl. I love you more than words can say. Please watch over us. We will be together again. RIP Maryanne--I was always so proud of you even tho I never let you know it. What you set out to do, it was always accomplished. We kind of lost touch with each other but not really--being the nosy type I am, I use to ask different ones how you were doing and the answer was always the same, she's doing great. You took great pride in everything you did. You took great care of your Dad after your Mom left us. Now the three of you can dance the Red River Jig together! TO THE FAMILY--Sorry I cannot attend the prayers or the funeral but I will be thinking of you all. God bless you all! (Like my granddaughter Jessica tells me everyday SMILE BE HAPPY!). LOVE YOU ALL! - Posted by: Marjorie Desjarlais (Auntie) on: May 04, 2014

I will miss you Maryann, I have fond memories of the times when we worked together at Karen's, the time that you would call at the end of your shift. and come and kidnap me in my pjs. We would all met Jackie, cork, you and me and sit there in Tims talking and laughing into the wee hours. The get together s at Christmas, and birthdays. Coffee the four of at Zellers, and lunch, these are the things I miss. You always had a smile and a tale to tell. - Posted by: Gillian Lavallee (Friend and co worker) on: May 03, 2014

When Fern and Mary-Ann lived in Richer, we were almost inseparable. We had wonderful, fun times together. Had Nintendo competitions, BBQ's, etc. When they moved to the city we sort of lost track of each other. We would call each other once in a while and make plans to do something together, but it never happened. We were both too busy with our own lives. I regret that. Missed out on a lot and now she's gone. We love you Mary-Ann, Fern and kids. You'll never be forgotten. - Posted by: Bruce and Monique Willman (Cousins) on: May 03, 2014

Mary ann, Only god knows why your not here and why he ripped you from our lives and left so many people with torn & broken hearts! This is so ,so surreal....The only comfort there is with your passing at this time is knowing that nothing went unsaid and we know what we meant to each other. I'll never forget our last hugs and kisses...You held me so tight and wouldn't let go (We knew it was our last) When we looked in each others eyes...no words needed to be said!! We sure did validate for the last time our love and friendship for each other at that moment. We have been blessed to have you in our lives. You were a great auntie to our kids and to our grandchildren (In Aunties Shaynes eyes Uncle mary ann was the best)We have awesome memories made over the years which every one of us will hold and cherish. Dave & I will have a hard time getting out of having those moments with blank stares and teary eyes and the big question "WHY" but until we meet again you will always be cherished in our hearts. Your children were pretty much grounded in their lives at this point but we will check in on them & your grandchildren from time to time and of course your loving husband Fern. Mary Ann was a very kind hearted , loving, caring, soft spoken ,affectionate hugging woman. And she had the nicest dark eye's anyone could ask for and when she looked at you she looked right to your heart because just looking at her you loved her . I always loved to hear Mary Ann laugh because it made you happy and if she had something to say whether the person liked it or not she told them how she felt. That's what I loved about my cousin Mary Ann she didn't let anyone get away with nothing if it was to protect the one's she loved. And she took such great care of her Mom and Dad and once again you are in their arm's R.I.P. my cousin Mary Ann you are resting now love and miss you till we meet again. - Posted by: Maureen Desjarlais (Cousin) on: May 03, 2014

Mary Ann was one of the strongest women I've ever known and she will be truly missed. One of my favorite memories with her is our family get together that Mary Ann and I hosted. I would of never gotten to meet her or the rest of our huge family if it wasn't for her. And I am truly so happy to know that I can call her family. I may of not known her long but she has a very special place in my heart. I love you Mary Ann forever and always xo - Posted by: Kyra (Cousin) on: May 03, 2014
