PAULINE (SCHALLA) REIMER February 5, 1934 - May 6, 2014 After a lengthy illness, with sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Reimer, who has gone to heaven to be with her beloved husband, at the age of 80 years. Pauline was born to John and Natalie Schalla on February 5, 1934. Pauline lived and worked in Winnipeg at Canada Packers and Ogilvie Flour Mills. When she married John P. Reimer on October 9, 1954, they moved to Steinbach and started a family. Pauline loved being a stay-at-home mom, raising her two children Gary and Valerie, and later helping raise her grandchildren. Pauline loved her family dearly. She helped her husband whenever she could and she was always there to help her family when they needed her. Pauline lived a full and happy life. She was predeceased by her husband John P. Reimer in 2010; her parents, and several other family members. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Gary Reimer and his wife Marilyn, and Valerie Duncan and her husband Darryn; grandchildren: Justin Nikkel and his fiancée Charlene, Jeremy Nikkel and his fiancée Felicia, Nicole Reimer and her friend Dave; her great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Brice and special girl Zerenity; as well as several sisters and brothers. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Steinbach, MB, with viewing at the church prior to the service. Ash interment at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Pauline may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to Lutheran World Relief. Flowers are gratefully declined. Love one another. Rest in peace Mom!
