Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERMAN RESKE Born May 3, 1932, Herman passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his daughter Marion in 1962 and he will be missed and cherished forever in the hearts of his wife Dorothy; children Marjorie (Ray), Gary and Cindy (Bob); grandchildren Eleisha, Sabrina, Connor and Corbin; and many great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters Ann (Eldon), Esther (Alex), Henry (Doreen), Edward (Alla), William (Norma) and Helen. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Herman retired from Canada Packers at the age of 55. After retiring, he enjoyed his family, friends, bingo, working in the garage and, most of all, reading his Bible. He was a kind and gentle man and a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His dedication and love for his family and friends knew no boundaries. At Herman's request the family will have a private celebration of his life. If friends or family so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Asthma Society of Canada. Dad, we thank you and love you forever.
