VERLIE ANNE BUELL (nee OIG) On May 15, 2014, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend, peacefully passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. She was 74 years old. After a short health battle and being diagnosed with lung cancer, she decided that she had enough and she would not suffer. Verlie was predeceased by her mother Jean Oig. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Robin and Sherri (Dale), grandchildren Gordon, Jessica, Keith, Kyle and Melissa (Matthew), her great-grandchildren Damon, Austin and Asha, lifelong friend Isabelle, as well nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Verlie was a friendly, easygoing, but sometimes stubborn woman who had a smile for just about everyone, even if she didn't like you very much. She had a great love for her family, bingo- especially Sunday nights at the Eagles, her great-grandchildren and her dog cash. She was warm hearted, and would help you out however she could, but you can bet your butt that she had it down somewhere, along with everyone's phone number and their mothers. You gave so much to all of us, and we miss you very much. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. Thanks to the staff on GA-4 at the Health Sciences Centre for everything.
