Des, Chris and Erin Dawn was such a wonderful lady. It was easy to become friends with her and I am very lucky to have had her in my life. I am proud to have one of her beautiful hardanger angels, which she traded for a carving of mine. She spoke highly of her family, was proud of all of you and loved you all very much. She will be missed, but she will be in our hearts forever. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Cathie Brereton - Posted by: Cathie Brereton (Quilting Friend) on: Jun 02, 2014

Dawn was a fiesty lady with a quick wit. Her hand needle work was truly inspirational. Dawn was always eager and willing to share her knowledge, tips tricks and expertise. We will miss her at our Riversie Quilters Tuesdays. I know the sadness of her passing will soon be replaced by fond memories. Linda Fabian - Posted by: Linda Fabian (Quilting Buddy) on: May 29, 2014

So very sorry Des and family over your great loss! I only knew Dawn briefly (less than 2 years), but greatly enjoyed knowing her. Dawn was very kind to two "newbies" to the quilting world....and I loved her sense of humour. We were all shocked and saddened over this sad news. Thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family ever since I learned she was so ill. My Sincere Condolences! - Posted by: Judy Lange (Quilting friend) on: May 28, 2014
