GEORGE EMIL HEIN George Emil Hein, 68, of Winnipeg, died Monday June 2, 2014 at his home as a result of a heart attack. George was born to Ludwig and Johanna Hein. George was raised in Transcona, where he graduated from Transcona Collegiate Institute and then followed in his father and brother's footsteps, working for the Canadian National Railway. George is survived by his brother Herbert (Alice) and their family, also a son Kyle and daughter Ryan. George had a large extended family with the owners, management, staff and friends of the Marion Hotel. We are thankful for the support the Marion has provided George for the past 31 years. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place on a future day.
