Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryC. PATRICK NEWBOUND It is with heartfelt regret we announce the passing of our father, C. Patrick Newbound on June 6, 2014 at Deer Lodge Centre where he was recovering from a stroke. Mr. Newbound was preceded in death by his loving wife Erika. He is survived by his two sons: Patrick John and wife Connie, Michael (Dawn), his sister Joan West, his brother Douglas Newbound, his sister-in-law Adi Kubicek, and grandchildren Cecelia and Gowan Newbound. Mr. Newbound was a well-known Chartered Accountant who served many clients over the years. He also served for several years as a Honorary member of the Winnipeg Police Association. Gratitude goes out to the staff of Victoria Hospital and Deer Lodge Centre for all the loving care given to him. Special thanks to his assistant Dianne Harlos and his close friends Cath Cuddy, Grant Nerbas and Larry Updike for their concern and thoughtfulness. Mr. Newbound has requested a private memorial service for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in C. Patrick Newbound's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choosing.

I was the Treasurer of the Wpg. Police Assoc. in the late 80's and had occasion to be with Pat several times during that period. When I retired in 1992 my contact was once a year at the Police Ball. Pat was a genuine gentleman and a pleasure to be with. His strong sense of caring was evident as well as his strong sense of humour. He had a very recognizable laugh.
