KATHARINA KROEKER (ENS) It is with great sadness that we announce her passing June 9, 2014 at Donwood Manor. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with Parkinsons. Her beloved husband Heinrich predeceased her in 2005. Her memory will be cherished by her children Helmut (Elfriede) Kroeker, Henry Kroeker, Aenny (Gerhard) Roemer and her grandchildren Chris (Hayley) Kroeker, Rick Kroeker, Carrie (Jan) Janssen, Heather (Rick) Perfanick, Ryan (Laura) Roemer, and three great-grandchildren James, Aaron, Alicia. The family wishes to thank the staff at Donwood Manor for their compassionate care for the last three years. We also would like to express our gratitude for the many visits and support from extended family and friends. Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay Street with interment to follow the reception in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
