Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEO GAGNON It is with great sadness that the Gagnon family wishes to announce the passing of Léo Gagnon, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at St. Boniface General Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. Léo leaves in mourning: his loving wife Alice, sons: Ernest (Linda), Jean (Barbara), Marcel (Murielle), Paul (Cynthia), and Robert (Ginette); daughters: Claire (Doug) and Lilianne (Dave); 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, eight brothers and one sister. Léo was predeceased by three sisters. Léo was born in Giroux, Manitoba, on June 16, 1930. Léo met his loving wife of nearly 63 years on the steps of the La Broquerie church. Alice and family would like to sincerely thank the emergency staff of the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital and the staff of the ICU at St. Boniface Hospital. Also, a special thanks to the Steinbach cancer care personnel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Cancer Foundation and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Deepest, sincere condolences from the Camille Jolicoeur Family. We were neighbours to the Gagnon Family for many years. We grew up and shared many wonderful experiences together. We always stayed in close contact. Whenever we could meet we always remembered to laugh and share past anecdotes together. And that was always a pleasure. We have always maintained contact with the whole family. These memories are never forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with Alice and all her beautiful family and the entire Gagnon Family. With sadness we say farewell to Leo but at the same time we celebrate his life with you. We know he is in the better and wonderful place he deserves. Leo will always be remembered for his great generosity and his love of life. A great example for our present generation. My deepest sympathies go out to the Gagnon family. Marcel, Murielle, Jacques, Mel, Carole and JP. I will trully remember all the great memories that were made on the Gagnon farm. Keep those fond memories in your heart. Pepere will continue to look down on you and smile everytime you quote his favorite joke. - Posted by: Denise Hildebrand(nee Turenne) (friend of Carole Gagnon) on: Jun 12, 2014

Sincere sympathies to the Gagnon family. My mom and dad (Rosaire and Lucienne Fontaine) were long time friends of Mr. and Mrs. Gagnon. - Posted by: Simonne Desrochers (Fontaine) () on: Jun 11, 2014
