ARTHUR HECK Suddenly on Sunday, June 15, 2014, Arthur passed away at the age of 84 years. Arthur will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elfriede, of 51 years; three sons Harry (Debbie), Daniel (Marla), and Richard (Barbara); six grandchildren; sister Ruth Adam; brother Jonathon (Annie), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Arthur was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in the early 1950s. He was employed at Assiniboine South School Division until his retirement. An active member of Mission Baptist Church, Arthur faithfully served as custodian there for the past eight years. Arthur found a friend in everyone he met, and his easy-going nature left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Baptist Church, 771 Sargent Avenue with viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Arthur's memory can be made to "Back to the Bible" or World Vision.
