ROLAND ROSS August 23, 1931 - June 27, 2014 It is with great sadness that on June 27, Roland Ross lost his fight with cancer, with his family by his side. Roland is predeceased by his parents Anaise and Phillip Ross, brothers: Horace (Dorothy), Rene (Irene), Archie (Rita), Eddie, and Alex,; sisters: Simone (Eugene Legal), and Germaine (Hank Durand). He is survived by: his wife Marie-Rose Ross, sister Gloria (John Lajoie), sisters-in-law: Jeanine Ross and Paulette Ross; children: Lori Ross, Jacquie (Ray Beaudette), Christine (Dan Lapointe), Gene Ross (Marlene), Cathy (Rob Fenelon), and Wayne Ross (Marilyn); grandchildren: Teghan, Kahlia and Brett Beaudette, Breanne, Travis and Kristjan Lapointe, Taryn and Morgan Fenelon, Jana-Lynn and Nicholas Cole; and great-grandchild Nash Boucher. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our Saviour Parish, 365 Loewen Blvd., Steinbach, MB. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Roland may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030

I was so sad to hear that I had lost another favourite uncle. My mom (Simone) must be very lonely in heaven to call so many of her brothers to join her. I so remember uncle Roland on the farm in Ross he was always teasing me. Aunty Marie, Rose, me and Dieter send our deepest condolences to you and all your children and family and we are sorry for not being able to make it down for the funeral. Our prayers are with you.
