  • I'm shocked and surprised at the unexpected passing of Ferlon. He was a good friend. He made me feel totally at ease and accepted. I remember we went out on the town one night. We were on Main street. I got in to a tussle with another guy. I knocked out the guy. I didn't notice the cop near by who witnessed the fight. Next thing I knew. The cop had his night stick against my throat. I was pushed and held up against a building. Ferlon was standing behind the cop saying "Hey, what are you doing to my cousin?" The cop pushed Ferlon away and told him to get out of here. But, Ferlon persisted and demanded that the cop stop and leave me only. Finally the cop let me go and told us both to get out of here. Ferlon was like a brother to me. He always was there for me. Knowing that he is gone from this world. Makes me sad inside. I will miss you brother Ferlon. - Posted by: Johnny (Cousin) on: Jul 04, 2014

  • Working with Ferlon was seldomn dull his sense of humour and generous outlook on life was a warm daily welcome. When asked he was always willing to help in any situation with a smile and easy comment on the day. I did not hear him grumble about work or his co-workers but instead look ed at the sunny side of the events whether that was delivering flyers or washing dishes. His love for his wife and family were never far from his lips as he shared some of the fun things they did together.Ferlon was nonjudgmental whenever we shared thoughts about current events he'd go for the under dog everytime often adding that life is short and we never know what the other person has experienced..then he'd laugh and make a joke about something many would have found embarrassing and go on with life is fun..Ferlon shared his moose meat with me everytime he had gone to hunt saying itt did not belong to him alone but meant to be shared...I will miss the moose meat but not nearly as much as his smile and laughter..To the family I am so sorry for your loss..eva - Posted by: Eva Mohammed (friend and former co-worker) on: Jul 03, 2014
