EVA BERTHA DUMAS On June 30, 2014, at the age of 72, Eva Bertha Dumas passed away peacefully, with her family by her side. Eva leaves to mourn her passing her husband Alfred, children Carol (Les) Chartrand, Mitchell, Charlene and Floyd (Joe) Dumas; grandchildren Robert (Cynthia), Jessica, Jeffery, LeeAnn (Craig), Ian, Michelle, Amanda and Noelle and great-grandchildren Justin, Ethan, Jordan, James, Quinton, Eric, Rylan, Aidan, Tierra, Michaela, Natasha, Madison, and Angela. Eva was predeceased by her parents Donald and Mable Shorting, brothers Harold, Albert, Kenny and James, sisters Irene and Elaine Shorting, children Karen Gwen, Karen Michelle, Brian, Gerald, Darren and Grant, grandchildren Matthew, Leon, Marilyn and Elizabeth Dumas and great-grandson Blaine. Eva was wife to Alfred Dumas. Born on December 26, 1941 in Elphinstone, Eva spent her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she met her husband of 56 years. Together they had seven sons and four daughters. Eva was loved and adored by everyone. "We will all miss you and love you, sweet little lady." Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Monday July 7, 2014 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street with viewing at 9:00 a.m., interment at Brookside Cemetery.
