Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Ken and I were so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. We had no idea that he was so sick. He was a strong and courageous man. When I knew him working for the City of Winnipeg I knew him to be an integral and moral man with a dry sense of humour. Our deepest condolences to his family God has him now and he is full of health and vim and vigor God bless you and give you strength and comfort - Posted by: Cyndi Slapinski. • Ken you were an amazing man, and I truly enjoyed working with you over the years, especially for all the Public Works Expos and all the charitable fund activities. Your sense of humour kept us all smiling and you will be truly missed. - Posted by: Terry-Lynne Hause (Co-worker) on: Jul 22, 2014

  • One could learn from Ken what it meant to be a true friend. Always dependable. Surely you'll be missed! God Bless!!! - Posted by: Gary Granke (Friend & co-worker) on: Jul 16, 2014

  • Bucky was a man who was kind and strong. He had a genuine love for animals and nature. He cared for his fellow man and never had to demand respect, because he treated people as he would have wanted to be treated himself. He loved his farm, his horses, his trail rides. Bucky I am wishing you Happy Trails and know that your memories will live on forever with your family and friends. Janice Swistun - Posted by: Janice Swistun (Former employee) on: Jul 14, 2014

  • I had the privilege of knowing Ken for many years when he was a Parks foreman for the City of Winnipeg. Ken was highly respected by his peers and took great pride in his accomplishments. I always appreciated Ken's wisdom, sincerity and friendly nature. My deepest condolences to the Buchholz family for your loss.
