Grandpa, I don’t know if you will ever get this but I want you to know how much I regret not spending enough time with you. I recently have heard so many funny and amazing stories about you! I wish I could have gotten to know you. I’ve heard dozens of stories about you from grandma..she misses you so much! We all do. I’ve been learning new things about you like how your favourite band was the “Eagles”. They have great Songs! My favourite band is “Queen” Freddy Mercury is the best! I’m now fourteen and I’m in High School. I sent you a note up to you in the fire as well as a song I think. I hope you got it. I just want to say I miss you..I’ll always regret that decision I made as a child. The one last chance I had to see you I didn’t do it! I regret that decision so much. I love you forever and always your Grandchild Raven. P.s Please look after grandma she hasn’t been taking the best of care of herself. - Posted by: Raven Abigosis (Grandchild) on: May 15, 2019

Renny, you were a true hero in my eyes. You opened up to everyone and were always willing to lend a helping hand. Sometimes I'd think of you as my own grandpa, you were the one who I caught my first fish with and the one who taught me how to swim. You welcomed my mom and I into your family with open arms. The campground will never be the same with out you. I'll never forgot you and everything you've done for me. Thank you for everything. Rest in paradise. - Posted by: Taylor Craig (Family Friend) on: Jul 24, 2014

Grandpa this is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my life. I miss everything about you. Everyday the pain is worse. Only the good are taken too soon. You fought a battle none of us could ever do and you did it with such strength and courage. I will always look up to you for strength and courage. Please guide us through this terrible time and help us make it through. I'm doing my best to be here for grandma and I promise to look after her for you. I love you with all my heart and miss you more than anyone will ever know. Love Ashley - Posted by: Ashley Derkacz (Granddaughter ) on: Jul 23, 2014
