DORIS ELIZABETH STOETZEL 1921 - 2014 Doris passed away peacefully on July 22, 2014 with her family at her side. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughters Marilyn Peters (George) and Darlene Huley (Norm), two grandchildren, Sheri Allard (Mark) and Trevor Peters, and four great-grandchildren, Kyler, Jason, Brock and Craig Allard. She was predeceased by her husband Martin in 1988, parents Joseph and Agnes Highmoor, five brothers and three sisters. Doris enjoyed the past nine years at Kildonan House, the last five with the care and assistance of Darlene. Although dementia made her world foggy at times, she was able to enjoy a quality lifestyle. Thank you to the staff and residents for your friendship and support over the years. The family also wants to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital for the compassion and care given our mom during her hospital stay. A memorial service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. 1 East, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29.
