Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERRY THOMPSON (nee IRWIN) On July 28, 2014 Terry passed away. Terry was born February 20, 1952 to Evelyn (Lyn) Irwin (nee Kelly) and Earnest James Irwin in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her father and sister Kyra. Terry is survived by her mother and her brother Kelly and the many family members who loved her dearly, as well as those who were fortunate enough to call her friend. Her love of family and caring for children, animals and birds, and her style and grace will always be remembered. We would like to thank the staff at Tudor House Care Home in Selkirk for the care and compassion shown to Terry over the past years. A memorial service will be held at a future date to be announced. Despite it being almost 50 years since I last saw Terry, I would think of her often, wondering as we do about dear friends from the past. And she was a dear, dear friend. How many times did I travel from St. Vital to Harbison Avenue to see her? Too many to count, but I shall recall them all with much fondness. She was a very special person and I am profoundly saddened to hear of her passing. Mrs. Irwin, Kelly and Terry's family, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.
