Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUSSELL P. MATEUSH Peacefully, on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the age of 77 years, Russ passed into a better place with no more pain and suffering. According to Russ's wishes, we laid him to rest on August 7, 2014 and no service will be held. We would like to thank the wonderful staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for all their compassion and support throughout Russ's stay, especially Dr. Finlayson, his "special" nurses (you know who you are), and HCA Linda who Russ truly adored and who always treated him with special goodies and TLC. Thank you could never be enough. May you now rest in peace Russ, you deserve it buddy! Thumbs up and see you on the other side. Love you always and forever... We were neighbours of Russ in the early 80's and he was a fun guy to be around. Our kids played together while the adults sat in the backyards and chatted. We also went out to their cottage many times at Engulf and had a blast. So sorry to hear of his early passing and our thoughts and prayers go to Wade and Jamie and their families. - Posted by: Gary and Gail Werschler (Old neighbours) on: Aug 14, 2014

I am a volunteer who visited Russell quite often at Seven Oaks ... he was a wonderful man with many stories and always welcomed me with a warm smile. I enjoyed his company so much and always found myself staying past my shift while visiting Russ! I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Russell's family and especially his dear friends Dawn and Lawrence who he always talked so fondly of. I will always remember you ... RIP Russell. - Posted by: Marcella Costantino () on: Aug 13, 2014
