Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE JESUS FERREIRA Peacefully on August 19, 2014 at St. Joseph's Residence Irene Ferreira passed away at the age of 90 years with her family at her side. Irene will be missed by her children John (Maria), Joe (Connie), Rosa, Gil (Donna), and daughter-in-law Luisa; grandchildren Suzana, Gary, Lucy, Nelson, Danny, Michelle, Christine, Janice, Mandy, Tracy, Mitch, and Maria; and 16 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Joe (Luisa) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Manuel, son Manuel, and son-in-law Andrew. Irene was born Sao Miguel and came with her family to Canada in 1963. She worked in the garment industry for many years until her retirement. She liked gardening and loved spending time with her family. The family would like to thank Dr. Andrea Babick and the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for all their kind and compassionate care. Vigil Prayers 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street, Funeral Mass 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Parish.
