Most of my memories of Aunt Charlotte are from my childhood. My children only knew her from a photograph I used to have displayed in our home when they were growing up. Even though my contact with her in my adult years was sending her a yearly Christmas card ....I will miss her greatly....Over 30 years ago she helped me get through a very difficult time in my life by writing me a heartfelt letter....I still have that letter....Deepest Sympathy Herta & family - Posted by: Wanda Hawthorne (God-daughter) on: Oct 03, 2014

Charlotte and I lived together for 2 years. We spent a wonderful time together and she took over my job when I left at Canada West Grains. She was very happy there and I am sorry to hear about her passing. We will all miss Charlotte; she was a big factor in the Buller life. - Posted by: Anna Penner (long time friend) on: Aug 25, 2014

It was my privilege to know Charlotte at Concordia Village. She always had a friendly word when she came to the front desk or passed by . I will miss her. Terrol (Receptionist at Concordia Village) - Posted by: Terrol Rogers (Friend) on: Aug 25, 2014

I was 13 when my family and Aunt Charlotte began sharing a cottage on Mcconnell Lake near Kenora. It was initially a run-down, mouse-inhabited, leaking structure with Charlotte's end sinking slowly into the ground; in other words perfect for an extended Mennonite family looking to keep working hard after their regular jobs finished on Friday evening. And when the tools, shovels and paint brushes were put away for the day at the cottage, Charlotte would relax by puttering in the large and productive vegetable garden that she created on the property. I understand that, in the old country, she was a teacher, and I know she had a long and successful career with the Wheat Board, but my strongest memory will be of her happily reaping her Mcconnell Lake vegetables. Happy gardening Tante Lotti. - Posted by: Rudy Buller (Nephew) on: Aug 22, 2014
