EMMA HRYCUK (nee DEBRECEN) With sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Emma Hrycuk, at Misericordia Hospital on August 15, 2014. Emma was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan to parents Paul and Elizabeth (Gyuricsko) on July 15, 1926. Emma is survived by her daughter Gail, son Rod, and grandson Rick, whom she adopted. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Linda, Marnie and Jamie, as well as several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. As well, Emma is also survived by brothers, John, Jim, Fred and Jerry and sisters, Julia, Ida, Mary and Gloria. Emma was predeceased by her parents, brother Paul, sister Olga, and brother Bill, granddaughter Marilyn and grandson Glen. Emma worked very hard during her lifetime, providing for her family. She worked for many years at J.R. Wire as a welder. She loved her Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets. Even to the last she always gave everyone she saw a high five and said "Go Bombers Go". In keeping with Emma's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Emma will be missed very much and Emma as you always said when someone was leaving "See you later, Alligator".
