ABRAM KLEIN It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, pa, and papa on Monday, August 25, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Abram (Abe) was predeceased by his wife Patricia; his parents Peter and Helene; brothers Peter and John, and sisters Rita and Kathy. He will be lovingly remembered by his five beloved children: Shirley (J.D.), Cindy (Blaine), Sherry (Darrell), Gary, Larry (Jen); his special foster daughter Jasmine; his nine grandchildren: Melissa (Myles), Shauna (Jeff), Erin (Adam), Dustin, Kyle, Lance, Carley (Shawn), Mitchell, and Harley, and his 15 great-grandchildren: Raynee, Lolah, Montana, Cheyenna, Wyatt, Ayvree, Nevaeh, Owen, Lelynd, Madison, Dylan, Alexis, Austin, Keanna, and Mylee. He will also be missed by his sister Helen; brothers Ben (Doreen) and Henry (Lorraine); brother-in-law Walter and sister-in-law Betty. His furry grandchildren: Ralph, Brody, Buster, Lily, Lulu, Indika, Buddy, Trigger, and Tiger will also miss him. Dad was a lover of the outdoors. Fishing, hunting and camping were his passion. Above all else, family was most important to him. He loved his family dearly. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Peace Lutheran Church, 350 Gilmore Avenue with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of the surgery ward of the Selkirk and District General Hospital for their love and care during Dad's stay. We would also like to thank Dr. Randunne and Bonnie for the wonderful care they have given Dad throughout the past few years, and the support they provided to our family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or an animal rescue centre of your choice.

Heaven was granted another Angel. Abe was an unbelievable man that I was honored to have in my life for 20 years. Being Best Friends with his Daughter Shirley I was part of the family. I know he sure will be missed by a lot of people, but the most important person that was in his life was waiting for him at the gates with open arms. I am sure Pat is extremely happy to have the love of her life reunited with her after so many years. Abe you will be missed, and until we meet again.. R.I.P We love you Wanda & John - Posted by: Wanda and John Yanosik (Close friends of the family) on: Aug 27, 2014
