• Blake and I met at Linwood. We were both sort of the class clowns. Truth be said he was my first crush. One day walking home from Linwood Blake held my hand. I remember with my heart racing this feeling I never felt before. The next day I decided we should kiss. Being a child I didn't know how to go about this but we were playing some sort of chasing game where u fall on the ground so I decided to lay a quick kiss to his cheek while he was down. lol He didn't take it well and ran away. We were kids what do you expect? I embarrassed him, aww poor Blake, well I remember after school wanting to apologize so I caught up to him as he was walking home and said I was so so so sorry, etc. He said it's ok I just didn't want everyone to see, and he held my hand again. My heart still racing from jogging to catch up to him now racing even faster I said see what kind of dumb founded by the whole moment .. Blake place his hand on my cheek and said "this" and kissed me!!!! He later told me he didn't want his first kiss to be in front of everyone and that I was his girlfriend now. We would later have a recess wedding and become husband and wife he added me on Facebook when I was 18. We had plans to go on dates that I never took :( God works his ways for a reason I guess .. I decided to Google his name and found this. I wish I could have found out sooner and gave my respects to my first husband lol. • Blake and his family were former neighbours of ours as well our children attended school with Blake and his siblings at SJ Collegiate, we are truly saddened to hear of Blake's passing.
