Cheryl, was so very sad to hear of your passing, after all of your help and encouragement, I moved away from Hanna and a very difficult situation. Your talks and your dogs were a great salvation to me and my two small dogs. You were a true friend and a great sounding board. I shall miss you with all of my heart. I had a chance to meet your daughter Melissa on one of her visits with you while she was in Japan. My deepest sympathies go to your daughter and your family I shall miss our chats. RIP MY DEAR FRIEND. God Blessed the world with you and now it is a world filled with sadness at your passing. Farewell my dear friend, farewell. - Posted by: Jessie Irion (Friend of hers when she lived in Hanna, Alberta) on: Jun 08, 2020

Tonight I learned of your passing. I can't begin to say how saddened I am with the news. As many above have written, I too knew Cheryl during my time as a nurse in Churchill, Mb. You were an amazing, talented and beautiful person who softly touched the lives of so many people. I feel so very blessed to have known you. You faced your own hurt and pain with dignity and grace and empowered those around you beyond expectation. My thoughts and prayers to your family my friend. We will meet again! - Posted by: Kitty Murphy (Coworker) on: Sep 29, 2014

I had the good fortune of having Cheryl come into my life in Churchill Manitoba. After 37+ years of addiction She was instrumental in guiding me to rehab and a sober life. It has been fourteen years now and I cannot say how much being free of my demons and having clean sober thoughts mean to me. She touched my life in a way that no other person did before or since. Rest in peace Cheryl. I know the Angels of the Lord are around you now. - Posted by: ronnie bugera (client) on: Sep 13, 2014
