Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY SEMENIUK October 24, 1933 - September 14, 2014 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Harry Semeniuk on Sunday, September 14, 2014, after surgery. Harry is survived by seven sisters: Anne, Jean, Polly, Irene, Stella, Ollie and Phyllis, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents George and Dora Semeniuk, one brother, John and sisters, Margaret, Jessie and Mary. He was born on the farm on October 24, 1933 in Sandy Lake, MB where he spent many years on the farm enjoying life as a child. He later moved to Winnipeg where he excelled as an automotive mechanic. Harry's favourite pastime was playing his guitar and singing Johnny Cash or Hank Snow songs. If you asked Harry how he was doing, his response would be "one day at a time". He was a member of St. John the Apostle church where he enjoyed attending mass on Sundays. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Grace Hospital for their kind care and compassion during Harry's short hospital stay. Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Green Acres Cemetery, #1 Hwy. E. and Navin Road.
