FERNANDE (FERN) TURENNE Born in St-Pierre-Jolys, Fern passed away peacefully at Actionmarguerite-Taché on September 18, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her siblings Sr. Cécile, Juliette Lavergne, Reynalde Dufresne, Albert, Denis and Roger. She is survived by her brother Robert (Evelyn) of Nepean, ON, sister Aline Lacerte of Calgary, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place Thursday, September 25, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Many thanks to the staff of Taché Centre for their excellent care over the past three years. The members of St. Mary's Cathedral Council of The CWL of Canada, offer our condolences to family and friends of Fernande. Fern was a charter member of the council 1987, and served as the first secretary and later, in many other positions. She was a faithful, presence and keen participant in the affairs of the Council, and formed friendships with council members.
