Janice it has been 4 years since you have left life's journey to the great afterlife beyond. I think of u often and reflect on all our good chats and laughter. I will always cherish your strong non judgemental support when needed and helped me thru some pretty dark times. I still pull strength from your spirit when needed. The world lost a great person, but heaven gained a mighty spirit. Thoughts to U Roger and the girls always. - Posted by: Deb Ganney (Friend co worker) on: Oct 01, 2018

Where does the time go..... I am leaving for Florida soon, and my first thought goes to Janice. She always loved Florida and we used to share our stories about our trips there. Janice is never forgotten and I really do miss her. - Posted by: Lorraine S (friend) on: Jan 08, 2017

I have just learned of Janice's passing, so please excuse the belated nature of this. Janice and I were friends out at Ponemah Beach when we were kids long ago. She was a wonderful girl, smart, funny, fun to be with, sweet and strong. I'm sure she grew into a wonderful lady. My sincerest sympathies go out to Janice's husband Roger, their family, to Wendy, Gayle and Bill and the many people who loved Janice. Roger and girls, I have known Janice for many years. We had a lot of laughs together at work. She was always an upbeat person - seldom focusing on the negative. I was grateful for her friendship and know in my heart that she is in a better place - happy and healed of her illness. I send my sincere condolences. - Posted by: Lorraine Sitar (friend and co-worker) on: Oct 01, 2014

Janice is one of my best friends. She always has a sunny disposition, so loving and kind. Her husband and two daughters, and her dad are always the subject of our conversation during our coffee breaks. Janice has so much love for her family. Her positive attitude and gentle spirit are the most beautiful traits that will remain in my thoughts and in my heart. I love her dearly. In this time of so much sorrow, there are no words to say, but my prayers are with Roger, Kelci and Lindsey. My heartfelt condolences. - Posted by: Oliva Padpad (friend and officemate - Canada Border Services) on: Sep 30, 2014

It is with sadness that we heard of Janice's illness and the suffering that cancer brings. Our condolences to Roger, Kelci and Lindsey. With time sometimes comes unplanned distance in relationships... but not in caring. Our compassion extends to Uncle Don, cousins Wendy, Gayle and Bill. Favorite memories.. when Roger and Janice were working in the Territories and she would send us newspapers and letters with encouragement to join them. Brian wanted to go! Christmas at Gramma Kaltenberger's with the cousins or at the Wladka household. Journey well Janice. Brian & Sheila Kaltenberger - Posted by: Brian & Sheila Kaltenberger (cousin) on: Sep 28, 2014

Sincere sympathy to Roger, Kelci, Lindsay and all other family members on the passing of Janice. It is a very sad time when a loved one has left us. I knew Janice more as a young girl and have some fond memories of her and her brother and sisters. I also remember the conversations I had with her Grandmother (Marie Kaltenberger) about her, she was always a sweet girl with a very kind heart. She was always very kind to her grandmother bringing much joy to her from her visits. - Posted by: Silva Carswell (Kaltenberger) (Aunt) on: Sep 28, 2014

Dear Roger, Kelci and Lindsay - as well as other family members. I am so sad to learn of Jan's passing. She and I had many great times together, especially before she returned to her government job. Jan was a firecracker who could and would get things done in a moments notice. One of my fondest memories is of the amazing cross stitch picture she did for Roger for his RCMP graduation. She worked tirelessly on that piece. Your family has been in my thoughts over the years, just wondering how you were since moving from Emerson Avenue. Sincere condolences from myself, Don and our kids Lisa and David. - Posted by: Janice Bell (Friend - neighbor ( Emerson Avenue)) on: Sep 27, 2014
