Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRIS SNOWDON (nee CUTTS) 1921 - 2014 It is with deep sorrow, that her family announces the death of Iris Snowdon at 93 years of age. On Wednesday, October 1, 2014, Iris passed peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Iris was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, George (1985) and sisters Kay Graham, Ilene Gill and son-in-law Ralph Edginton. Left to mourn Iris are her daughters Gail Edginton, Leslie (Myron) Snowdon and her son Jeff (Tracy) Snowdon; her grandchildren Paul (Dianne) Edginton, Glenn Edginton and Jason (Danielle) Edginton, Randy (Jay) Pearson, Derek Dent, Amanda Snowdon and Nicholas Snowdon; and her great-grandchildren who knew her as "Big Nana" Shane, Carley, Jaden, Abby, Elise, Connor, Sophie and Wyatt. Iris will be remembered by her family as a wonderful loving woman, who was happiest when she was caring for others. Iris was loved by everyone that knew her. Her sweet disposition, easy laughter, love of music and dancing, and especially her love of animals will be fondly remembered. The family would like to thank the staff at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for the wonderful care during the three years that she spent there. In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue. Mom, you will be in our hearts forever. VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 204-668-3151

Gail: I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. No matter the age, we are still devastated when our Mom leaves us. I didn't know your Mom well at all, or you either really, but have fond memories of your Mom being so very beautiful, soft-spoken, and kind. Lots of good memories of your Dad, my Uncle George, horse-back riding with me, and Ralph having me over to show home movies. I am sure you will miss your Mom terribly.
