Erich is son of Friedrich (late) and Luise Hirschfeld. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Avenue, Winnipeg with viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street, W. St. Paul, Manitoba. This obituary may also be viewed at www.friendsfs.ca

We shared many happy memories with the Hirschfeld family when they visited our farm and then later on at Victoria Beach. Eric came knocking on the door looking for a cookie or someone to go fishing with. I treasure those memories. He always had a smile.
