MARJORIE DOREEN SHARP April 11, 1940 - October 22, 2014 Peacefully after a battle with lung cancer, with her family at her bedside, Mom went home to be with Jesus. She is survived by her six children; two sons Rod (Cheryl) and Gary(Charity); four daughters Theresa (Gerald), Brenda (Robert), Marlene (Timothy) and Tracy (Curtis); three sisters Sadie, Fran and Betty; one brother Robert; sister-in-law Gloria; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her companion Brassy MacPherson "The love of her life"; lifelong friend Annette McIvor; and "Boo" Mom's little dog that misses her dearly. Thanks to Health Sciences Centre GH4, nurses and doctors for their care and support at this difficult time. "Marjorie Dancing with The Angels" Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Waves of Glory Church, 364 Furby Street, with luncheon following. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests each person bring "one" flower of their choice to be placed in a vase to celebrate Mom's life.

  • So sorry I didn't get to see Marge this year. She will be truly missed. my heart breaks for the family. She was a wonderful person I met at the Lucerne bread factory where we worked for years together. We met in 1985. :( :( She was like a second mom to me . She was one of the best!! I love u Marge, RIP, heaven has another beautiful angel.   • I was very sad to hear of the loss of our Auntie Marge. I am glad that I got to spend some time with her when I was home this month. I wish I could be there with everyone, but as you know it is quite a distance from Nova Scotia.   • My deepest condolences go out to all the Sharp family. RIP grandma Sharp. even though we're not blood related, ever since I was a little girl you and the whole Sharp family treated me like I was. For many years I remember spending many Christmas, special visits at your place, going to church being in the x-mas plays, you'd pick me up when I'd miss the Bus for church, I always felt very loved.   • I first met Marjorie at Walmart when she worked there as a greeter and she was such a sweetheart and loved animals, nice nice lady and I will miss her dearly. I used to stand and talk with her all the time when she worked at Walmart and when she was just there to shop I still stood and talked to her, and she kept telling me how her dog princess was doing and I'm sure she does miss her like crazy, and so will I.
