FAITH ELEANOR CHAMBERS August 20, 1932 November 3, 2014 Peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Health Sciences Centre, Mom passed away with her family by her side. Mom was born in Winnipeg, where she remained until her passing. She worked as a head cashier with the Codville Co. for over 20 years. She loved to spend time in her garden and take care of her beloved dogs and cats. She moved into Lions Place, where her greatest pleasure was hanging out with her friends Virginia, Chris and Irene. Occasionally, she would try her luck out at the local bingo hall and casino. Mom was predeceased by her parents Helene and Gordon Wheatcroft as well as brother Alan Gould. She is survived by children Holly Bakala (Jim), Leah McBride (Glen), Bill Chambers (Linda), Donna Chambers and Gord Chambers (Elsa); son-in-law Alan McBride and sister-in-law Marge Gould. She is also survived by her brother Frank Gould (Pat) of Kelowna BC; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren as well as numerous nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank the excellent care Mom received from Dr. McCarthy and to Brenda and her team on the GA 3 Ward. Special thank you to Dr. L. Oppenheimer and the entire SICU Team. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or Humane Society in Mom's name. Memorial service 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Can’t believe it’s been 6 years since you had to leave us . It seems like it was yesterday I held your hand and kissed you on the forehead and said goodbye.
