I grew up in Hawaii where my mother Kathy and Aunty Barb would frequent the TL along with my father Louis. She was an amazing woman whose heart was only matched by her wit. Now her my mother and father are singing with angels. - Posted by: Kahealani Hoff (Daughter of Kathleen Kamakaiwi (niece)) on: Dec 24, 2015

A long time friend here in Hawaii. She is a link to my previous life as a young wife and mother in the 60s and 70s. We have stayed in touch over the years and have celebrated many holidays together with our fellow friends here. She will certainly be missed. - Posted by: Barbara Nolasco (Friend) on: Nov 07, 2014

Barb was loved by many in Hawaii. She frequented the Tahitian Lani Restaurant in Waikiki in the 60's and 70's and loved Hawaii, its music, and its people. There are many friends here that will truly miss her. - Posted by: Pat Palika Enos (Dear friend) on: Nov 07, 2014

One of the first females to be licenced to trade securities in Canada and the winner of many awards in her profession; she was a trailblazer in the industry and her acheivements can only be surpassed by the type of person she was. Went to Glenlawn Collegiate and got to know Barb during our three years there. She was always so bubbly and fun to be around. Although we didn't keep in touch, I do remember some of the crazy times we all had at school. My condolences to her family. - Posted by: Judy (Bjarnason) Parsons (school friend) on: Nov 06, 2014

Many many years ago I had the privilege of working with and being mentored by Barb at a couple of different financial institutions. Barb was a great inspiration to many and took the time to teach the financial markets while also servicing her many clients. Barb was a true testament to a delightful talented woman. She will be missed by all that new her. - Posted by: Jeff Berry (Friend) on: Nov 06, 2014
